The two main events of the 2013 British calendar are the Open golf championship, which begins in late July and attracts thousands of fans from across the world; before the rivalry to beat all rivalries gets underway as Australia tour England in the Ashes.
There are plenty of reasons to follow the British summer of sport and in the Open Australians will once again back Adam Scott – the unluckiest man in golf after he made headlines in the golf betting news by crumbling to lose a four-shot lead over Ernie Els at the tournament last year.
