Moore Park golf course D-Day looming

Apr 3, 2024

The NSW Government has proposed to reduce one of Australia’s most popular public golf courses to nine holes. Now the public can have their say and golfing bodies across the country are lobbying their constituents to help save Moore Park as an eighteen hole course..
Recently in Victoria, Northcote Park golf course came under the same scrutiny, eventually saved as a nine hole public course after negotiating an early daily closure so it could be used as open parkland for residents. Oakleigh golf course is another public course that was in the gun for redevelopment, again saved by public opinion and pressure.
Golf Australia has posted an article on their site, with links to have your say on the future of Morre Park. READ MORE HERE.
