Jason Day and Matt Jones both finished in the Top 25 of the Travelers Championship, but Bubba Watson claimed his third title, capped off with a fine final round of 63. Day finished in a tie for 12th (-11) six shots adrift of Watson with Jones T19 (-9) two shots further back. Both were solid but they were never in the hunt.
After a good US open result Aaron Baddeley missed the Cut, with fellow Aussies Leishman, Ogilvy and Pampling.
On the Cahmpions Tour David McKenzie was the only Australian starter and he tied for 28th.
On the web.com Cameron Percy finished T44.
With The Open only 3 weeks away (July 15-22), all players will be doing their best to hone their skills with the aim to bring home the Claret Jug!
