David Marriner's Laguna Whitsundays resort has sold most of the 300 lots within the original Turtle Point estate. There remains one residential precinct to be released and also the Marina development with apartments facing north and overlooking the bay toward Condon Range and the Whitsunday Islands. The developer lost its application to acquire the Proserpine Airport. The Turtle Point Hotel of 126 rooms awaits refurbishment. A new partner is being sought to replace Medallist and complete the Jagabara Course. Land and occasional resale of homes are available. The Pandanus course remains in the planning stage.
