| Description | A serene and picturesque course set on either side of the Cardinia Creek that offers grass greens, undulating Santa Ana Couch fairways and a challenging layout that includes one of the most difficult Par 4's in Australia - the 10th hole measures only 354m but requires accuracy tee to green to avoid water either side of a narrow fairway. The clubhouse has superb views of the surrounding hills and beyond, and provides the perfect place to enjoy a cold drink after your round of golf. Neat dress code, denim allowed. THE COURSE
There are many Golf Clubs around nowadays, but not many 'Private Clubs' which are as picturesque, friendly and affordable as Berwick Montuna Golf Club. In the past few years the staff and committee has been totally committed to improving our course and surrounding conditions. As a result the Club has received good reviews and many compliments from both existing members and visitor.
Situated a short 5 minute drive from Berwick the Club is open 7 Days a week to Members and Visitors. The Club welcomes visitors to enjoy the course and facilities. Green fee bookings are available 7 days a week except for Tues / Wed / Thur between 7.30am and 9.30am and Sat before 1.30pm.
BE CHALLENGED
The 10th hole at Berwick Montuna is rated in the top ten most difficult holes for public access courses in Australia, and with very good reason.The first thing you notice when you walk on the tee is the tight landing area to place your drive. The hole is a sharp dogleg left par 4, with water hazards running down both sides of the fairway right up until the green.
From the back markers it is 180 metres to the centre of the fairway on the dogleg, from there a shot of 160 metres will see you in the middle of the green. For those who wish to take on the corner it will require a well struck shot carrying 190 metres at the right edge or 225 metres on the left edge of the dam. Also for good measure any ball that lands on the adjacent 17th fairway is out of bounds from the 10th tee.
Depending on your golfing prowess you may wish to take on some of the dam or all. Mind you the safest option is to hit straight up to the corner of the dogleg which for the better players will be a 4 iron and for the shorter hitters a 5 wood. From there a well struck mid to long iron will place you in the centre of the largest green on the course.
For the mavericks who want to challenge the hole this is high risk versus high reward stakes. A 3 wood or driver over the centre left edge of the dam will leave approximately 80 metres to the flag, however the errant shot will be destined for a watery grave. This is the recommended tactic for the low marker as it leaves a short wedge to the green with an excellent chance for birdie.
Keep your nerves in check, swing sweetly, and enjoy one of the most difficult par 4's in Australia.

Clubhouse - The clubhouse has sweeping views across the course from an elevated vantage. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Berwick Montuna nestled amongst the trees in Guys Hill.
Outdoor Area - Enjoy the outdoor entertaining area overlooking the 7th fairway. It is the ideal place for a social drink after a round of golf.
