The Coast Golf Club is situated approximately 12 km south of the CBD along Anzac Parade, and 8 km east of the airport. The course is a par 70 oceanfront links that surrounds Little Bay, Sydney’s southernmost City Beach. Uniquely there are ocean views from every hole.
Wind strength and direction are a major factor in the nature of the golf course. Stretching along the coastal cliffs, the course is greatly affected by the breeze prevailing on the day of play. Indeed the first four tee shots are in four different compass directions; due West, East, North then South.
The Course is suited to players of all skill levels, or even just the golfers who like to play on one of the most beautiful scenic courses in Sydney.

The Coast Challenges Sydney’s Sporting Elite
In the South Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, atop the cliffs of Little Bay, lies one of Sydney’s premiere golf courses. The Coast Golf Course is a beautiful and challenging place to play, and who better to attest to that than some of Sydney’s most talented and decorated athletes.
The Coast Golf Club is now home to some of Sydney’s biggest sporting names, including South Sydney Rabbitoh’s star and arguably the best Rugby League player in the world, Greg Inglis, as well as other South Sydney stars Sam and Luke Burgess, Adam Reynolds and coach Michael Maguire. Both Burgess boys play off single digits and had nothing but praise for the course at The Coast.
“It’s a great place to play” said Luke, the eldest of four Burgess brothers, who are now all at the Rabbitohs. “We’ve always loved coming out for a hit and because the wind direction varies the course is not always the same. Golf in such a beautiful location is also the perfect way to get your head away from football for a couple of hours.”
The big-name members at The Coast are a testament to the quality of the course at Little Bay. Another new member at The Coast, dual premiership winning Sydney Swan, and the owner of a very nice handicap of 5, Ryan O’Keefe has been impressed with the difficulty of the course.
“It’s super challenging playing here. It’s a really technical course that doesn’t have many straight forward holes, which makes for a very challenging and enjoyable 18,” stated O’Keefe.
Having received reviews like these from such well respected and successful athletes, General Manager Kieran Semple has his sights firmly set on a few other big names who call Sydney home.
“We’ve been in touch with a few individuals across Sydney’s sporting codes that have expressed interest and have taken application forms,” said Semple. “A huge import at Sydney FC is looking to sign up as a member in the coming weeks.”
Current members at The Coast boast a bevy of premierships, world championships and national and state Guernseys, not to mention impressively low handicaps. The fact that they have chosen The Coast Golf Club, as their place of choice to tee off is indicative of the class The Coast possesses.
