THE COURSE
Midway between Inverloch and Leongatha and set in magnificent natural bush, Leongatha Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole course designed by H. Vernon Morcom, who with his brother were the course architects for many of Australia’s top golf courses. Vern was also the superintendent for Kingston Heath Golf Club from 1928-67. 

Rated in the top 100 public access courses in Australia (#66 by the 2025 GOLF Course Guide), the 18 holes at Leongatha are varied and challenging. No matter the number of players, the course retains a sense of quiet seclusion.
All fairways boast Santa Ana couch enhancing the course’s reputation as being one of the very best in rural Victoria. A number of the large greens are protected by newly designed bunkers and spectacular vistas of the rich surrounding countryside emerge at differing vantage points around the course. The greens are a real feature, beautifully maintained with subtle contouring.

It is a scenic layout that covers terrain from hilly to gently rolling providing excellent all year playing conditions. Flanked with magnificent trees rising from the natural bush, the course supports a variety of local flora and native animals.

From corporate golf days to conference and parties Leongatha Golf Club has the facilities to create, plan and execute your next function.
Our Spaces. Leongatha Golf Club has three flexible indoor event spaces available

• Meeting Room - Perfect for smaller events, meetings and seminars.  With its own access to the outdoors as well as a fireplace this room is available all year round and can be sectioned off from the rest of the clubhouse. This room is perfect for events up to 40 people.
• Main Lounge - This room has direct access to our bar, contains a parquet dance floor and accommodates up to 100 people.
• Entire Clubhouse - This space would be perfect for larger sit-down functions and events.

All of our spaces used for conference and events come with the following included equipment: projector and screen, whiteboards, extension leads and power boards, television, cordless microphone, pa system and free wi-fi.
