Description | A challenging links style golf course designed by Neil Crafter of Golf Strategies, Mount Compass Golf Course offers a quality golfing experience for golfers of all standards. Together with a practise putting green, expansive driving range and 18 quality golf holes laid over a gently undulating landscape, peppered with gorse, 89 tight bunkers and a few integrated water features, the course takes advantage of the sandy soils that dominate the area, making effective use of the original topography of the site and is brilliantly maintained. Neat dress code. Bookings advised. Playing rights available, 7 day ($2,400), 5 day ($1950) plus $75 Golf Link affiliation fee if required. Junior membership available. |

Located in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Mount Compass Golf Course is an easy 50 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD and 20 minutes from Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Middleton and Goolwa.

Mount Compass Golf Course offers players 18 challenging links style holes designed by Neil Crafter of Golf Strategies together with a practise putting green and an expansive driving range.
With a total length of over 5900 metres the par 72 course includes four par 3 holes, eleven par 4 holes and three par 5 holes over gently undulating landscape that is peppered with gorse, 89 tight bunkers and a few integrated water features.
The course takes advantage of the sandy soils that dominate the area, making effective use of the original topography of the site. Neil Crafter is a long time devotee of Dr Alister MacKenzie whom worked on and/or designed some of the world’s greatest courses including Lahinch, Royal Adelaide, Royal Melbourne, and Augusta National.
Mount Compass Golf Course is brilliantly maintained and manicured by a small team of dedicated grounds staff.
We have a fleet of new golf carts available, together with golf clubs and pull buggies for hire.
DINE and WINE
Our bar / restaurant area enjoys panoramic vistas across the golf course making it an ideal venue for pre and post game refreshments, lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
With seating capacity for up to 120 people we can accommodate large functions by prior arrangement.
Enjoy tasty selections from the menu accompanied by wines from our extensive collection showcasing some of the best wines of the Fleurieu Peninsula, as well as representing some of the best regions throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Our facilities are family friendly (high chairs and change areas available).
