In great news for golfers of Geelong and surrounding districts, Clublinks has been announced as the preferred operator for the management of Queens Park Golf Club. Council voted to commence contract negotiations between the City and Clublinks, which will take place over the coming months. The announcement of Clublinks as the preferred operator of the club for the next 21 years follows an extensive tender process.
Clublinks has announced its intention to make substantial improvements to the 18-hole course, clubhouse and driving range, which will create an even better experience for users of the facility and the wider community.
Greater Geelong Mayor Stretch Kontelj OAM said exciting times were ahead for Queens Park.
"Clublinks were selected in a very competitive tender process, and their plans and commitment to facility improvements are great news," Mayor Kontelj said.
“This is an important next step in the process towards a better Queens Park Golf Club for everyone.
"I look forward to negotiations commencing and more positive news soon."
